Guidelines
- What is accepted
- Original clinical research, case series, and health services research on rare dermatologic disease. Single case reports are accepted where the presentation or the management is genuinely instructive.
- Formatting
- Structured abstract of no more than 2,500 characters, under the headings Background, Methods, Results and Conclusions. Case series may substitute Cases for Methods. No figures or tables in the submitted text.
- Authorship
- List every author in presentation order with their institution. The presenting author must be registered for the meeting before the poster is scheduled.
- Review
- Each abstract is reviewed by two members of the scientific planning committee, blinded to author and institution. Decisions are sent on September 21.
- Presentation
- Accepted abstracts are presented as posters in the exhibit hall on Saturday November 14, with a staffed viewing period during the lunch break.
- Conflict of interest
- Every submission carries a conflict of interest disclosure for all authors. Disclosures are printed on the poster.
