Using this site
This site is published by Novel Insights in Rare Diseases, LLC. Using it means accepting these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the site.
NIRDs may change these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last reviewed.
Medical information
Everything published here, including session descriptions, faculty material and any content delivered through the education platform, is intended for licensed healthcare professionals and is provided for educational purposes only.
It is not medical advice, it is not a diagnostic or treatment protocol, and it does not replace your own clinical judgment or your responsibility to the patient in front of you. Product information may refer to uses, doses or populations not approved in your jurisdiction. Check the approved labelling before prescribing.
The forthcoming Clinical Reference assistant supplements clinical judgment. It does not replace it, and it is not a diagnostic tool.
Registration
Registration is free for qualified clinicians, advanced practice providers and trainees. Submitting the registration form reserves a place; it does not create a payment obligation, and no card details are collected at any point.
Places are limited and are confirmed in the order applications are received. NIRDs may decline or withdraw a registration where eligibility cannot be verified, where the registration appears to be duplicated or automated, or where conduct at the meeting warrants it.
You may cancel at any time by writing to the address on this site. Cancelling early frees a place for another clinician.
Accreditation and industry-organized content
Sessions marked as accredited are planned by the NIRDs scientific planning committee. Content is determined solely by NIRDs and its scientific planning committee, and speaking opportunities are never granted in exchange for sponsorship.
Sessions organized by an industry partner are labelled non-CME, industry-organized wherever they appear, including in the published program and in the calendar files this site generates. They do not carry continuing education credit.
Intellectual property
The text, design, photography and code of this site belong to Novel Insights in Rare Diseases, LLC or are used with permission. You may read, print and share pages for your own professional use.
Recording, re-publishing or commercially reusing session content, faculty material or site content requires written permission. Faculty retain the rights to their own presentation material.
Availability and third-party services
This site is provided as it stands. NIRDs does not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error free.
NPI verification depends on a public registry operated by CMS. That service can be slow or unavailable, and NIRDs does not control it. Registration never depends on it: if the registry does not answer, you can complete your details by hand.
Links to third-party sites are provided for convenience. NIRDs is not responsible for their content.
Program changes
Session titles, times, faculty and format are confirmed through the autumn and are subject to change. Material changes are sent to registered attendees first.
If the meeting is cancelled or materially rescheduled, NIRDs will notify registrants directly. Because registration carries no fee, no refund arises.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Rhode Island and the United States, and any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that state.
